Kathryn N. Sano ~ Founder & Executive Director

Ms. Kathryn N. Sano graduated from NYU (May 2010) with my Masters Degree in Music Business. She attended Syracuse University from 2002-2006 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in both marketing management and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

While in school and holding a variety of jobs, Ms. Sano created The Music Business Network (in 2008) to connect industry professionals, students, and musicians with the services they need (in order to help them succeed professionally). She is an extremely outgoing, hardworking, personable and diligent professional who highly values consistency, persistence and the ability to operate on time sensitive deadlines (while consistently providing a high level of quality work).

• She Has Pursued Many Entrepreneurial Endeavors Including:
  • Creating The Music Business Network
  • Freelance Consulting in Marketing, Distribution, The Music Industry, and PR sectors
  • Creating a Record Label/ Alternative Distribution Outlet (Metropolitan Media Group / Digital Democracy)
  • Creating a Management/Booking agency (7th Step Entertainment)
  • Managing a Producer and a Hip Hop Group (Matt Carapella & The A-Squad All Stars)

• Keep an open mind. Be tolerant of others and try to see things from their perspective.
• Be dependable and consistent with the quality of my work.
• Make the world a better place and don’t actively go out of my way to make it more frustrating and difficult for others.
